Autumn on the Bend Ale Trail
Ahhh November… you know what the means? Bend, Oregon is having one of its finest seasons: beer season! November is Bend Ale Trail Month and nothing pairs better with craft beer than the great outdoors. Bend is surrounded by the Cascade Mountains and is a mecca for hiking and cycling trails, including fat-tire biking to waterfalls (Tumalo Falls or bust!).
The Deschutes River winds right through Bend’s walkable downtown—filled with lively restaurants and shops. And of course those World Gold Medal award-winning brew pubs that are part of the Bend Ale Trail.
It’s the largest beer trail in the West: 16 breweries pouring signature hoppy IPAs, rich porters, crisp Kolsch, and drinkable diversions like cider.
You don’t have to purchase a ticket to the Bend Ale Trail: just show up, sample the beers, and get a trophy for participating. Everybody wins in Bend!
BEND ALE RUN BONUS: Go on a gorgeous run, then quench your thirst at the Bend Ale Run and Ale Fest (November 11).
