Complimentary Entry to California State Parks with Redwoods

How’s this for a post-Thanksgiving plan: on Black Friday, you’ll be seeing red … as in magnificent redwoods! Yep, the day after Thanksgiving you can enjoy free day-use admission to some of California’s redwood state parks because Save the Redwoods League and California State Parks are giving away day-use passes.

The caveat: it’s a first-come, first-served basis according to each park’s capacity (just one pass is needed per park, per vehicle). The silver lining: while many parks are already booked up (read, sold out!), some of Northern California’s very best and less traveled state parks still have availability, and the redwoods are wondrous!

Get them on your bucket list and get your pass at the Save the Redwoods League site. Redwoods Friday is November 24. #RedwoodsFriday #CAStateParks #WeekendSherpa.
