Eat, Explore, Repeat: Point Reyes Station
Eat, Stroll, Shop, and Relax at Point Reyes Station

It’s small and laid-back, but Point Reyes Station is a standout gateway to Point Reyes National Seashore. Fresh food, cool culture, and an unfussy vibe are part of the draw.

Main Street is lined with historic buildings, murals, galleries, a stellar vinyl record shop (Loose Joints Records), and the legendary Point Reyes Books.

As a well-known foodie enclave, expect to see hikers, cyclists, casual beachgoers, and curious travelers clamoring for coffee and pastries at Bovine Bakery, perusing artisan pantry goods and picnic provisions at West Marin Culture Shop, and lining up at eateries like Station House Cafe (*recommended). Dining in Point Reyes ranges from casual to more upscale, yet always unfussy.
