Outdoors Party: October 1

Bay Day 2016

We love a good party, especially when it’s held outdoors! And the best venue? Why, the Bay Area, of course! The first-ever Bay Day is on its way: October 1! So save the date and bring your friends to celebrate all things outdoors—in honor of our San Francisco Bay. Dozens of places throughout the Bay Area, from the Peninsula and East Bay to the North Bay, will be leading outdoor adventures of all kinds (mostly for free)!

Like guided hikes at Picchetti Ranch Open Space Preserve, and docent-led walks at the brand-new Sears Point Tidal Marsh in Sonoma. There’ll be group bike rides, too—including in Silicon Valley and at Don Edwards Wildlife Refuge. Other adventures include beginner-friendly kayaking to mysterious Bair Island, and meeting Bay Animals at the Lindsay Wildlife Experience.

The adventures go on and on—all day, throughout the Bay Area! Pick your region, pick your outdoor passion, pick your place to get out on an adventure to celebrate Bay Day! October 1.

PS: There’ll be beer and food and live music too!
