Buck’s Restaurant is an original in the upscale-rustic heart of Woodside. Part diner, part museum, and part Silicon Valley legend, Buck’s is famous for its eclectic décor, hearty breakfasts, and decades of startup meet-and-eats.

The menu is fresh and varied, from all-day pancakes and coffee to crispy chicken salad and the Veggie Power Bowl. Finish things off with a thick Oreo milkshake. Buck’s is folklore for a reason.

In nearby Portola Valley, stop at Rossotti’s Alpine Inn and grab a seat in the sprawling outdoor beer garden. The names have changed over the years, but this beloved spot remains the second-oldest continuously operating tavern in California.
